Fig. 5. Anti-biofilm activity of Consti-Biome and Sensi-Biome supernatants against pathogens. Biofilm inhibitory by cell-free supernatants (CFS) of Consti-Biome and Sensi-Biome was evaluated by modified crystal violet assay performed in the 12-well cell culture plates. (A, B) S. aureus, (C, D) E. coli. Images of biofilm inhibition by CFS were shown below the graphs. The biofilm inhibition ratio of (E) S. aureus and (F) E. coli. Inhibition of biofilm formation were observed in untreated (Control) or treated with different concentrations (20 and 40%) CFS of Consti-Biome and Sensi-Biome. Bars are representative of the mean and error bars are representative of the standard deviation of three independent experiments. A significant difference from the control was indicated as, *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, or ***p < 0.001.
