Fig. 3. Phylogenetic tree of Streptomyces CYP154C3s and their closest homologs. The phylogenetic tree was based on amino acid sequences of the CYP154 family. The phylogenetic tree was constructed by the maximum likelihood method and the Poisson correction model. The prefixes in front of the CYP number abbreviate the genus and the species of the respective bacteria from where the enzyme originated (Faln, Frankia alni; Nfar, Nocardia Farcinia; Save, Streptomyces avermitilis; Sbin, Streptomyces bingchengensis; Scar, Streptomyces carzinostaticus; Scoe, Streptomyces coelicolor; Sfra, Streptomyces fradiae; Sgri, Streptomyces griseus; Speu, Streptomyces peucetius; Sroc, Streptomyces rochei; Ssca, Streptomyces scabies; Sspp, Streptomyces sp.; Stro, Salinispora tropica; and Tfus, Thermobifida fusca). The P450s in the current study are indicated by the symbol (◈). The vertical bar in the tree represents 0.2 amino acid substitutions per amino acid for the branch length.
