Fig. 6. Periplanetasin-5 peptide neutralizes LPS in vitro. Various concentrations of periplanetasin-5 were incubated with LPS (0.4 ng/ml) for 30 min. After that, 50 μl of LAL was added and incubated for 10 min. Then, the chromogenic substrate solution was added, and absorbance was measured at 405 nm. A chromogenic LAL assay was used to evaluate the LPS (endotoxin) activity. Data shown are means ± SD of triplicate experiments. ***p < 0.001, **p < 0.01, *p < 0.05 compared to the LPS group.
